Offshore Wind Power
Seafastening Assessment and Analysis
There are different practices for the geometry and size of the seafastening coordination vessel, the focus of design is as follows:
- Seafastening requires a transfer interface for easy operations.
- Equipped with dynamic structural strength to meet specified ship conditions.
- Allows personnel access for operations.
- Received third-party certification to ensure safe transportation, acquire insurance, and share the risks and costs.
The direction of this Center in planning the maritime securing is as follows:
- Started from loading and ended after transported, continued hoisting.
- Required to perform design, calculation and implementation based on the ship condition caused by the sea conditions under allowed weather conditions.
- Non-commercial product, with function, safety and feasibility as the first consideration, the economy is second.
- The safety facilities of components loading and transportation by the working ship vary with the ship and cargo.
Two types of load consideration from the place of production to the base port, and from the base port to the wind farm site.
The seafastening load condition is for every item added with the load generated by wind, the impact of derived waves and the static load generated by gravity and static water initial conditions. Calculate the wave load from the worst combination of generated loads and perform seafastening strength analysis after appropriate consideration.
