This system adopts Siemens PLC as the data acquisition component, and replaces the traditional analog wiring to the monitoring panel by an integrated digital transmission mode, which can save cost and time of construction adjustment and maintenance, and reduce the probability of misjudgment caused by noise interference during the transmission of signals. The information transmission backbone adopts a multi-node serial ring fiber network, and is configured with multiple monitoring computers at the same time, which greatly enhances system re-set ability.
The system is composed of an Embedded Industrial PC, a Human Machine Interface (HMI) and a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), to achieve the characteristics suitable for ship use and with high efficiency and excellent expandability.
The integrated digital monitoring system is composed of standard components on hardware and software, to provide a comprehensive monitoring operations environment, and integrates all the main and auxiliary equipment of the ship, that is capable of displaying the real time responses of dynamic charts, values, alarms, indications and other operational status on the human-machine interface. All operating interfaces are tailor-made for the custom of the actual ship. The monitoring items include: main engine system, power/generator system, oil water tank system, auxiliary machine pump turbine operation status, cabin door switch, fuel oil transfer system, damage control firefighting system, etc.
