Floating Basic Technology Development Assessment
The Ship Center uses the semi-submersible 5MW floating wind turbine of DeepCwind suspension chain as the research case, to verify the hydrostatic performance, the righting moment and the overturning moment curves, and the maximum allowable center of gravity curve conforms to the requirement of design criteria, to establish the floating wind turbine stability analysis and assessment techniques. Confirm the correctness of model establishment with the seakeeping performance analysis model of semi-submersible 5MW floating wind turbine and NREL literature verified additional mass parameters, then perform the seakeeping performance analysis calculation under the condition of OC4 design wave conditions, use the results of OC4 literature as verification to establish a seakeeping performance analysis and assessment technology for floating carrying platforms.
