High Sea-keeping Performance Crew Transfer Vessel
Ship and Ocean Industries R&D Center (SOIC) has already optimized a Crew Transfer Vessel of 21m length with high sea-keeping performance and designed a new vessel type to support the wind farm development and operating maintenance. This Crew Transfer Vessel has the characteristics of a shallow draft, and is beneficial to the repair and maintenance of the fishing port. It has the advantages of fast speed, capable of shortening the navigation time, increasing the sea operation period and has good sea-keeping performance, so it can increase personnel boarding comfort, the stability and safety of Turbine Access System operations.
This CTV is designed by SOIC, and verified by the National Cheng Kung University Model Test Tank. It can be quickly changed from a Catamaran mode to SWATH mode in 3 minutes. Moreover, this vessel is designed and manufactured domestically, and conforms to the requirements of the characteristics for local use.
