Development of Ship Dynamic Positioning System Prototype
The Ship Dynamic Positioning System Prototype developed by the Center, contains the numerical model of the targeted test ship inside the main core controller of the proto-type, takes the wind, wave and other external environmental force, accepts the control command of the propeller issued by the Ship Dynamic Positioning Control System, to operate the propeller based on the estimated control command of the propeller in order to dynamically position the targeted ship.
The Ship Dynamic Positioning Control System accepts the control force generated by the settings of the ship motion and target, and distributes it properly according to the installed position and power of the targeted ship propeller, to achieve the purpose of individual operation by multiple propellers.
The Ship Dynamic Positioning System simulator has the same input and output device as the Ship Dynamic Positioning System prototype, and the same core control program. This simulator can be used to simulate the operations of the dynamic positioning system the actual ship, used for the drill before the actual ship operation or used for practice in class.
